The buzz around our 2012 season is reaching a roar as we welcome two new music festivals, the return of traditional favorites, and an extended lineup of live concerts and comedy shows.

It all kicks off with the ever-popular Schweppes Great Chowder Cook-off, just 3 weeks away, followed by an eclectic collection of live acts – everyone from Ziggy Marley to Lyle Lovett – for our Nantucket Nectars Sunset Music Series. The Newport Summer Comedy Series keeps spirits high with hilarious, nationally loved headliners on deck all summer long. And in August, be prepared for a trio of powerhouse music festivals: the beloved Newport Waterfront Reggae Festival continues to rock steady, along with the debut of the Newport Blues & BBQ Festival and the Newport Celtic Rock Festival, both featuring legendary lineups.  Toast “prost!” and so long to the summer season at the International Oktoberfest, New England’s favorite tribute to fall.  And last but not least, come hungry to the Newport Food Truck Festival!
